Hi all,

One of my friend working in INDIA had a bond of 1 year with her employers. Before signing a bond she has to give a notice of one month if she leave the company. Now she wants to leave as her bond is getting over in Jan 2007. So if can anyone suggest, did she still need to give a notice of one month however nothing such is mentioned in the bond papers.

I mean to say if your agreement is finishing i don't think that you need to give a notice.

That depends on the company. Any company would surely want a notice if one of their employees is going to leave. The notice might be anywhere between 1 to 3 months. In your friends case its likely that the notice period is the same one month. I am just speculating. Ask her to contact the HR department about the notice period. That would be the best way of knowing for sure.
