I am just starting EJB using this book. Since the book came out, things have moved on at java.sun.com. Which j2se & j2ee should I download? I will be working in Linux.

Well the J2SE doesn't completely matter. What I mean is that the App Server will have to support the J2SE that you select, but in learning from reading a book, it doesn't matter. The Book covers EJB 2.x so basically, J2EE 1.4
