Hi
best way to recieve answers from ranchers is to post code snippet and some part of your stack trace , this will make it much easier to understand what and where is the problem.

you did not used JNDI in your DAO codes , but when you deploy the application it return error about some JNDI name ,
what you need to do is :
-are you sure that you do not access the Database by a datasource ?
-what is the name that it can not find ?

hope it helps

I don't understand, what do you have in the JNDI tree? Is it the DAO, or some other class. At the point of DAO, I wouldn't think there would be any reason for why the DAO would need to access the JNDI tree, unless they are accessing Entity Beans. Maybe it is the DAO that you have in the JNDI tree?
