Hi,

Could any one describe how far EJB is being accepted as a preferred technology when compared to other agile methods like POJO, Hibernate etc ?

Is EJB extensively being used ?

Thanks and Regards

Ayub.

Ayub,

EJB 3.0 *is* an agile POJO technology. It has standardized what proprietary POJO persistence products like Hibernate and TopLink do, and takes a Spring-like POJO component approach. It is being adopted by agile frameworks, such as Spring (see this turorial) and by companies that are eager to move towards standard Java EE 5 technologies that provide increased ease of use.

Regards,
-Mike

Why are people always so focussed on this OR that?
Most realworld solutions after all use a variety of tools and systems to achieve the desired effect.
