I'm working in S/w Telecom company. I dont have any prior JAVA Experience . I have passed SCJP 1.4 . I want to make future career in JAVA Technology. I will be getting project on Websphere portal & JSP Technology.
Could you please let me know is it right to join project to start my career in JAVA Technology. Would I be considered as J2EE Resource later?
How is future scope & opportunities for it ?
Please suggest me ASAP.
Thanks in Advance.

We have a forum about Jobs and I think this question will fit in there nicely. So I will move it over there now.

A complete J2EE resource should know Java/JSP/Servlets/EJB/XML possibly Struts.

Working on JSP and Java are very different. It sounds more like web developer.
