I have some doubts in RMI-IIOP Object.what is that Object we narrow out the home and making that Object into CORBA client object which can be used by non-java clients this is the definition given by kathy in Head First EJB.

If i get it right Can we call that RMIIIOP Object from c++ or .NET application?

Give me the real situation where this
type of narrowing really helps.
