Hi All:

I am trying to gain insight into how people are integrating external processes into J2EE applications.

1. What are the different options available?

2. Any specific guidelines or best practices for integrating an existing application not written in Java
running as an external process into a J2EE application?

I believe in the case of an in-process integration of this nature JNI is typically suitable.

Thanks in advance,

Ojior
