I don't have any production level experience with EJB. I read Head First EJB 2.0 a while back. I stayed away from the technology, because I found it very complicated -coniguration files- and has steap learning curve.

How different EJB 3 from EJB 2.0 in that ragards?

Thanks

A lot. Infact one of the main differences between EJB3 and EJB2.x is the ease with which you can develop and EJB3 application. You no longer need those home interfaces and the deployment descriptors. Annotations are used instead.
