Dear

I tried run jboss-seam in jboss 4.2.0 version, but unsuccessfully, i saw many errors on console and can't run examples.

My question: is jboss-seam must be installed only using jems-installer-1.2.0 ?

Only Seam from cvs will be able to be deployed in JBoss AS 4.2 currently. When Seam 1.3 is released, then you can use it to deploy into JBoss AS 4.2

Actually, you can use Seam 1.2 in JBoss 4.2.0. You just need a few configuration changes. I have updated all the examples in my book to JBoss 4.2.0 + Seam 1.2.1 GA:

Really? I had heard differently, but I do vaguely remember some configuration changes that is also viewable on Jira, but it didn't work for us before. Anyway, not much of an issue for us right now.
