Hi Friends ! I have a problem. I am unable to start the application server. It says "Could not start the domain domai1. There is a conflict on port 1049". After setting the port number to some other port number in the domain.xml file the server gets started. I have had this problem for about 5 times and had to do the same thing again and again. The ports are getting locked. I undeploy the application and stop the server properly. Whats happening here and how can i prevent it from happening again?

There's a possibility that the port has been used. You may want to do netstat -a to see if the port is really in used. If yes, then you have no choice but to use a different port for your domain.
