Hi, I am going to develop a product which has an async architecture. The most obvious solution is using some sort of Messaging (queueing) so I am going to use JMS for this purpose....
On the other hand, I don't want to be locked in any app server vendor's implementation b/c this product may be used out of an app server. So if there is any open source solution that you can recommend?
My first candidate is Apache ActiveMQ. Also, maybe in the future I want to develop a MSMQ bridge for this product in order to integrate it with .Net apps, so please consider this issue in your recommendation

Hi,
You may use ActiveMQ as it has some c# integration with openwire project.
I am planning to port an applications from Open Message Queue (sun MQ) to ActiveMQ as Sun MQ has some native dependency and lock us to what platform sun provides support.
