I am a java developer for the last 4 years in India, I have a query regarding the H1B visa, can any body tell me if there is a seperate provision for individuals applying for this visa.
as per my knowledge the H1B visa process for 07-08 is already over for applications in India, so how do I apply for H1B if I get a job offer from a US company in the next couple of months.

There is none. Every H1 must be petitioned for by a US entity not controlled by the alien beneficiary.
