preview ?

Is there a way to preview messages? Or could the 'edit by ...' be presented in a different way?

I made several mistakes in a recent post and the posting is marred by the 'edited by x' messages at the end.

Not a big deal, but i wonder if i'm missing something.

Unfortunately, the software we're using doesn't support previews.

The ability to edit your posts is the next best thing.
If you need to edit a post multiple times, just remember to remove the exiting [edited by..] tags each time. This way there will only be one edit tag at the bottom.

One tag isn't too intrusive but a whole bunch of them -- as you've mentioned -- is unsightly.

Thanks for the info... I forgot that one could delete the multiples. (I think I have asked this before LOL)

With that info, the editing isn't bad at all...
