error on running an ejb application

Hi,

I am facing the following error , while trying to call an ejb via a client application on jboss server .:-

I am using a tutorial from the link for this :- http://www.huihoo.org/jboss/online_manual/2.4/ch01s15.html

The client code used is :-


The line throwing exception is :-


It seems to be an issue with jndi naming. Am not quite clear about this stuff.

Could you Please help on this?

Please be patient when you ask questions in the forums. People are willing to reply, but since it's voluntary, it might take some time.

As for the NameNotFoundException, you probably are using the incorrect jndi-name while doing the lookup. Check the contents of the jndi-tree of the server and see what's the actual jndi-name to which the bean is bound. Then use that name while doing the lookup in your code.
