Is this a possible firewall issue?

Hi guys,

I have to call a remote EJB. I'm trying to call it under two circumstances...

A. Web client calles Remote EJB(stateless)
B. Web client calls Local EJB(stateless) which calls Remote EJB(stateless)

Now, I'm having no problems doing A. But with B, I can only come as far as creating(instantiating) the Home interface but once I invoke a method on the create remote interface, it just hangs up and later on I get a timeout error... What are the chances that this is a firewall issue?

A few things that might be useful to know...

1. I'm keeping a static reference to Remote interface(also tried just an instance variable, same behavior happened).
2. Below is the timeout message...
