hi friends, did somebody know how to import javax.swing.* in microsofts J++ or import sun.jdbc.odbc.*; i tried to import src.javax.swing; but it is unable to find the JFrame JTextfield and so on... Thanx a lot... feel free to email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
As long as you put those javax jars in the CLASSPATH, THE vj++ will be aware of it. The code complete feature of VJ++ will help you to use them. However, don't be fooled by that, VJ++ only compliant with jdk1.1.8, no more. If you have a VJ++, use it as an Java syntax aware editor, it is a very good editor. I've to admit this. Use your javac as your compiler. Or throw VJ++ entirely to the GC. You will not regret for doing that. Thanks! Roseanne Join our SCJD Study Group when certified
