Hi All, Can you please briefly tell me How EAI is different from BPM? In regards of: 1.In work and activities 2.In Technology and Technical Expertise req. 3.Current Market and Future Scopes 4.Job change from BPM to EAI or EAI to BPM.
To me, your question implies that only one can be used. However since one is a process and the other is a technology, I believe they can be used simultaneously.
It could be argued that the first is used by management, and the other is used by developers, but again your question doesn't make sense to me, as it might imply that you are considering changing from being a developer to being a manager (or a manager to a developer), but in that case why compare a management technique with a technology? Why not compare a technology with a technology? Or a process with a process?
I should also add that I just picked the first terms that matched the three letter acronyms you posted. It is entirely possible that I got it wrong. But that shows the danger of using three letter acronyms - if they are not defined first, then there is always the chance of someone guessing the wrong full definition.

Hi Andrew ,
Thank you very much for your reply. I have thought that those terms are very popular that's why I didnt explain it. However, BMP : Business Process Management (BPM) EAI : Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
Is BPM tool is using for Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)? In specifically, in market has many eai tools (Like Tibco, webMethods) are they BPM tools?
