The same stereotype answer:it depends. It depends on: 1)Your current salary 2)Your technical ability comapared to eompoyees's technical ability at future employer. 3)The project on which you will be hired for. and many more.... [ August 12, 2007: Message edited by: Arjun Shastry ]
Hi all, I'm currently a Fresher but i've done my SCJP1.4 exams & currently preparing for SCBCD1.3 exams. Also i've got good knowledge in UML,Design patterns & developing enterprise applications, but no project experience. Currently i'm pursuing a java course in reputed training institute in Bangalore which gives me placement assistance from reputed MNC's. They say so that getting a job thro training institute is less purposeful,as they give you only less compensation package compared to others who join thro on-campus or off-campus. If that is true, what pay package i should expect & what areas i should compensate & what are the gains i should look forward from the interview, which suits my profile i.e. expertise in java.
I wanted to know what is the current industry standard with regard to pay package for freshers, what a fresher with good certifications and knowledge in java , should do in the interview to be put in a java project, what are the compromises he can make,in which aspects he should not compromise, as his future career's advancement in technical growth & salary are based only on previous projects & compensation package.
Looking forward for your advice flows,
