Help on discrete event simulation ?

Hello, I don't know if this topic is suitablefor this forum or it should go into the intermediate section..
but am looking for help on perfroming discrete event simulation and conencting them to a GUI. Doe sanyoen know any sites where I can find this. All teh sites I found do not includ ethe GUI components... any help would be appreciated..thank... am suppose to simulate a celluar network system..am suppose to simulate the amount of bytes flowingthrough the network for diffrent amount of cell phone on the network and them print out the results.. thanks
