Hi:
Im trying to convece a group of companies that Java techlogies are a better solution than Microsoft Visual Basic solutions.
All the days im listing that Java Languaje is a "dead" and i am conviced that the problem is the "ingorance", but a i need to convice a group of engieners, so any personal experience, study case, tip or comment will be appreciated.
I posted a similar message in the EJB section but in this topic i don necesary need a Distribuited solution.
Thanks in advance.

i think that u cant really compare java enterprise and visual basic.
2 completly different things, for different objectives.
as for the .NET concept versus java , thats a compeletly other things and a good discussion !

actually, as a side note (i just saw your comment about the not needed distributed answer),
for just client side application, unless u need the multi platform ability, visual basic is far superior to java in every concept (aside from the not fully OO thingie, which is solved in VB 7).
