Urgent How to develop Reports

I want to develop report in java . The architechture of the project involves HTML as front end along with JSP/Servlets/EJB's in the middleware a nad Oracle 8i as backend
The project involves a huge report development for which i need some help. is there any API for it or some third party tool available for it.

Crystal Reports is a widely know 3rd party reporting tool that integrates with Java.

JReport by JInfoNet is also a good reporting tool, written in Java.
