Hi, I have about 2 yrs of experience in JAVA/J2EE. Is it a good idea career-wise to work on a project dealing with Documentum? Is Documentum totally different than JAVA? How is the scope for Documentum in the job market?

I have done some work with Documentum. I agree with the previous post, in that its a good document management system. Its better to have some knowledge in Document management systems, workflow management systems etc etc, which are sort of like out of the core of java but without which some applications cannot survive. The important thing is to appreciate the importance of these systems in "general", while concentrating on a specific product in a particular project.
