hi experts

i need to send basic commands from a mobile phone to a java application which resides on my notebook. how do i do this ?
can i read the DTMF signals trough the JTAPI ? what kind of hardware is required (is a standard ISDN-CARD good enough). im just starting to work on this topic so i appreciate all hints, ideas and comments.

thanks a lot

I don't know JTAPI, and that may be easier, but using J2ME you can send all sorts of things to a server which could be iterpreted as a command.
