I am writing a custom doclet. When i run javadoc I specify the custom docket using
javadoc -doclet <customdocletname>
Is there any way to debug the custom doclet?
When javadoc is run under some debugging mode either using JDB or some means I should be able to put break points in the custom doclet class.
Thanks
Ven B

I found the answer
To debug custom doclet in your editor use
String[] args = new String[] {"-doclet","fullyQualified Custom Doclet Classname","java file names as input"};
com.sun.tools.javadoc.Main.main(args);
I found this on sun javadoc forum:

Hi Ven,
Welcome to JavaRanch, the absolute best site on the www for Java information. We don't have many rules around here, but we do have one. Please change your display name to a first and last name to comply with the JavaRanch Naming Policy. You can change it here. Thank you for your cooperation.
