Hi
I have a typical problem.
I am doing serial port communication in java, for that i need to set the classpath for the comm.jar,I am trying to set the classpath using command prompt and environment variable, bu the thing is not working properly.
where as it is working fine when i am doing this in another system.
i am not able to solve this. please let me know...

Setting classpath from command prompt only sets the environment for that window, could that be the problem?
Personally, I have given up on setting special paths in CLASSPATH, instead I run programs from ANT which is very convenient for defining a classpath for execution of a particular program.
