If we answer the questions, do we get the job?

A good question is never answered. It is not a bolt to be tightened into place but a seed to be planted and to bear more seed toward the hope of greening the landscape of the idea. John Ciardi

maybe you should check some Sun Tutorials before you apply for such a job. Cause there are a lot of basic questions.

Does anybody have a set of questions or topics they use when they are interviewing potential hires? I have something lost in some drive somewhere but it's kinda old. It had sections for Java language, OO concepts, distributed Java, various APIs, etc. It builds up in ascending complexity, so if somebody stops answering you can pretty much skip the rest of the section.

Requests for interview-type questions pop up occasionaly. You migh want to try a search in the Java in General forums.

Looks more like someone's homework assignment than questions for a job interview to me.

I can't believe that anyone's going to do your homework for you. Either drop the class or go and pick up all the books you're going to need to answer your questions. A good intro to Java book and a good intro to J2EE book should get you where you need to be. Happy Reading!!

All 76 answers, or just 1 answer to all 76 questions?

I don't think you should simply post questions. If you want to check your understanding it would be better to post your answers with the questions and get your understanding of them verified by other ranch members.
