Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me how to enter image and audio data into an ORACLE DB and retrieve it later, independent of platform.

You'll probably want to look at using a BLOB. Have a look at the Oracle9i JDBC Developer's Guide and Reference - Working with LOBs and BFILEs.
