HI, I am facing a problem in istalling the comm api... my system config is java version: j2sdk1.4.0_02 version... Plat form: windows 2000 proffessional..... i am following the installation instructions...deployed three files as specified... Please anybody let me know in detail.... Thanks and Regards
The most common problem with COMM is getting the javax.comm.properties file in the right place. This is the file that tells the API which driver to use. As I recall, JAVA-HOME/jre/lib is where you want to put it. Bill

I Got it....i thought it will help others to know..so i am posting this...even if u have done as per the instructions....u will have a java.exe in system 32 folder....certainly u have not installed ur API with this java...so it will give an exception... U hav two way's to resolve this.. 1) u need to remove run ur application like jdk\jre\bin java BlackBox(Your application) Or 2) U need to set the path variable like(jdk\bin) first before any (system32) is set...
