Hi.
I have developed a swing application (JTextFields, JComboBoxes....) that connect to a database (Mysql 4.0.4).
in this application, I want to store the information in the database using a languageother than english.
ok, but when searching for a specific data, the JLabel component displays it with ??? characters instead of the real data.
so, should I use one of the classes in java.io.* package when I want to save and retrieve the data from the database ??(if this is true, please tell me how to do it)
note :
I don't not configure Mysql to accept a language other than english (I don't know
how), if this is the problem , please how to configure Mysql....

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
