Accessing USB devices

I am not able to access the USB devices attached to the computer through JAVA working on windows platform. Please let me know if there is any way i can access the USB devices.

Yours was an interesting question, and I absolutely had no idea, but was interested to know about it myself. and I found some links that you might find useful.

There was also the thread here which also mentions JSR-80, which is in the IBM link. I just point the thread out since it contains a link to another Java library with limitted USB capabilities.
