Hi All,In my applicacation i am working with files. My application is deployed in Tomcat server. And my files are deployed in IIS server.while running the aplication when i want to delete the files,i am getting a error message stating the file is already in use.Its not allowing me to do it manually also.I am thinking its because of file is still in the memory of Tomcat server.I am closing all the streams which i am using after my usage. How to solve this problem? If anybody knows about the solution please help me.

What I have understood is…

Your files are lying in IIS server, which is a different physical server

You want to delete those file using java form the application running on different pc.

Am I right?

My blood is tested +ve for Java.
