Hi Swati,

Please Ease Up with the "urgent" statements, Use A Meaningful Subject Line and Use Real Words.

Your question is far too broad to get any meaningful answer here. It is impossible to guess whether you are talking about what is new in third party products or APIs, what is proposed in J2SE 1.6, what is being proposed in J2EE, or J2ME, or what is being proposed as far as licensing (and that is just picking a few topics that could fill pages). You might want to Tell The Details of what you are looking for, and Show Some Effort by describing what you have already looked at.

Is this a question for which you should really Do Your Own Homework?

Regards, Andrew

btw, it's not urgent at all. At least not to anyone but possibly you. So don't expect anyone to drop everything they're doing to research your question which you didn't take the time to word properly or even use correct spelling and grammar to construct.

I'm trying to picture any case where finding out about the latest developments in the Java JDK could be urgent.
I'm at a loss.
Please tell us, how did this become urgent for you?

I think it might be a troll that we're feeding here.

Its always a possibility. Given the direction replies have been going in, I'm going to close this topic.

Swati Thorve, feel free to ask this question again if you feel this is unfair, paying particular attention to the directions Andrew gave you. Genuine questions do tend to get answered (people do try quite hard to be helpful) but only if the question is well explained.

If you do want to revise you question and repost it, you might consider the beginners forum.
