What to expect for 3.5 years in Mumbai

Hi,

I am having 3.5 years experience in J2EE and looking for a job change. Can someone please suggest as to what package I can expect in Mumbai for 3.5 years experience. Also I am from Mumbai so also considering tht there wont be any relocation.

As per my knowledge the market calculation is exp * 2, so check with your exp.

If any know more on this please let me also know

In my experience, 30% over the current CTC is the norm. Also if you are joining paymasters sectors like Banking, Insurance etc. 50% could be expected.

If you are having 3.5 years of "quality" experience, you shouldnt be worried about the package. There are good packages for experienced developers.
However, what you pitch at and how will determine better your chances of higher package.
