Apache Server Notification

Hi All,

I need a suggestion for the problem below... I am clearly describing the problem so that i will get a appropriate solution for the problem...

There are 2 computers. one on linux and another on windows(The windows has apache server installed). There is a cron running on the linux system. This cron is a .sh file. This cron compiles the java files and find if there are any problem with the class files. If there is a problem it logs the cause for the problem and stops further processing...

If there are no problems, the cron creates a archive of the class files that are created and copies the archive file to the windows system's folder(some location). After completion of the copy operation, the cron has to notify or tell the apache server (in windows) to perform some operation on the copied files like creating a EXE for the class files.

Please let me know how to notify the apache server that the copy operation is done! So that the apache can start to perform the operation on the class files....

TIA
