J2SE NTLM Proxy Authentication

I want to use J2SE to make NTLM Proxy Authentication. I cannot use HttpClient because it would work on J2EE but not J2SE. My requirement is to build it on J2SE and not J2EE.

Thanks

Not sure where you got this. HttpClient does not depend on J2EE - using it with J2SE works fine.

I tried to use it and it turned out that it gave me so many errors. I kept importing new packages and the errors kept increasing. And there are some packages that would have to involve javax.

Please help. I don't want to import so many libraries. There got to be an easier way. If you can help me with a link of installation instructions that are easy to follow, I would be very grateful

Are you going to tell us what those errors are? We can't help you if we don't know the details of the problem you're facing.

According to its documentation, HttpClient depends on Commons Codec and Commons Logging - that's all. Most definitely it doesn't require any J2EE classes.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
