News/Information flashing program

I have a requirement to build a system which will flash following information on big screen TVs at various places. Some content will be static and some dynamic. For example,

information related to the company - date of picnic - static

information related to company - like stock price - dynamic

summary data of one or two lines from other systems - dynamic

weather forecast

news headlines

Any idea about what kind of application this should be? Browser based, swing?

Also anybody has experience with connecting big screen TV to PC? I'm particularly asking about resolution challenge might face.

Are there any wireless transmitter available so that one PC can feed multiple TVs through wireless transmitter and receiver? Challenge is TVs will be placed all over the 700,000 sq ft building.
