I'm a Java/J2EE Software Engineer, migrating permanently to Australia later this year. We're deciding on Sydney vs Melbourne, and I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the Java/J2EE job market in Melbourne? I'm wondering about
* job availability in Melbourne compared to Sydney
* how much lower (if at all) salaries are in Melbourne

Cost of living is also lower in melbourne compared to Sydney. I did a job search for Melbourne as shown below:
