I need to write Java code (JDK 1.4) to do secure FTP.

Can I use the Apache commons-net-1.4.1.jar for this purpose?

Any help with sample code or documentation will be beneficial. I could not find relevant documentation/Java doc under Apache site.

Please do not cross-post the same question in multiple forums. It wastes people's time when multiple redundant conversations take place. Please read this for more information.
