I thought that there was a way to 'gray out' a checkbox, but when I was looking through the API for a method to accomplish this, I couldn't find anything. Could someone please tell me if a method exists for this and where it is? Thanks!

Hi
You can disable("gray out") the checkbox using either setState(for awt) or setEnabled(for Swing) methods.
hope this helps.
regards
ravee.

Thanks, I finally found it just before I found your post.
Actually, it looks like setEnabled works for AWT, also.
