swings supports in browser?

Actually I was working in swings, due to some problem in
appletviewer, I tried through Internet explorer and netscape
unfortunately it is not supporting. So what is the solution
for this?
Is it work if javaplug in is installed? if it so, what is
the procedure to setup javaplug in?
