This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I really like some of the all-Java IDEs, but they all suffer from the same weakness. The default monospace font is a serif font that is very hard for me to read. I would like to change the default font across all swing applications.... is this possible? I have the JDK1.3 source files, so maybe I could fix it and re-jar the JDK?? Not sure what this might entail, but some of those IDEs are awfully cool (TogetherJ, JBuilder, IDEA, etc). Otherwise, I'll keep plugging along in vslick, which does give me all the system font options..... thanks so much! eric
