hi,
Recently i got my h1b visa stamped but earlier i heard that market in US were down. I wanted to know what is the status of jobs now in US. I am having 6+ years of experience and a SCJP certification.
Any advice is highly appreciated.

Congratulations. Markets do go up and down and as an individual you have no control over them. But you can make yourself more competitive with good technical and soft skills.
