Frame dispose()

Hi,
I have three different frames, I want to show the frame1 first, get the information from the user, if the information is correct, dispose the frame1 and show the frame2, get the information, then dispose frame2 and show the frame3.
I tried with dispose(), but the frame1 is still running, and the 2nd frame is not showing up.
can anyone give any suggestions?
Thanks,
Vanitha

Hi,
Can you post some code so we can see what's going on?

hai vanitha,
Instead of going for frames why wont you try with Dialog Boxes which is meant for accepting user input.

What are you using as a parent frame?. What are the 3 frames based on?. This sounds like a lightweight/heavyweight issue.

Hi,
Thanks for all the replies. I am using the dialog boxes and solved the problem.
