Pl.help me to start study for swings.I have just become SCJP.
Like use swings:where,advantages,how, how to replace original awt designed GUI's with Swings etc.

The main advantage of Swing is that your gui will be the same no matter what system you run it on. An awt gui is likely to change its look if you run it on a different system, but this doesn't happen with Swing (as Swing is implemented entirely in Java).
Also, Swing gives you are greater number of components to play around with.
