Hello All,
I'd like to ask how is the market of EJB, is it really started to lose the share and spring is taking its place in the market so it is not worthed to learn it?

Spring is more popular, but it won't hurt to learn the EJB basics.

Make sure you mention the EJB version. With previous EJB versions like 1.1 and 2.0, it is a big yes that EJB started loosing popularity and other frameworks like Spring / Hibernate gained popularity.

Now with EJB 3 we have to wait and see what and how the industry has to say.

So if I'm new to both spring and EJB which one I learn first to catch up the market? shall I go directly to Spring and Hibernate instead of wasting time in EJB?

Thanks for the advice

EJB 2.0 or 2.1 is hopeless maybe EJB3 is better but I haven't spent time looking into it yet
