Tracking browser events in applet

Hello There,
I am opening a Window(of Window class) from an applet. The problem is that when I click on the browser or change to any other application, the new opened Window disappears(infact it is overlapped by the new application). The only way that i can make it visible again is by minimizing all the windows.
What I am in need is that the Window should always be in a position relatively to the browser (containing the applet). So that when ever I switch to the browser, I should also be able to see the new created Window.
If I am using a frame instead of the Window ,I have no problems 'coz frame can be made active form the taskbar or using alt+tab keys, which is not possible in Window.
Also how can I trap the minizing, active, inactive etc event of the browser in the applet.
Looking forward for a response at the earliest,
Thanks in advance,
Mohamed Zafer
