Transparent window(JFrame)

Is there a way to make a JFrame, or any type of window, transparent? What I'm aiming for is to make nonRectangular UI's, like "skins", having an image of any shape defining the bounds of the window.
Any ideas?
Seasons greetings!

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
