Need your suggestion regarding my next project assignment

I am on bench since last two weeks and now getting a project in US (an onsite assignment for Cisco) which is to start from November. With the context of US market declining, is it advisable to take up this assignment? Or should I look for some UK onsite oppurtunity from my company?

It really depends what client you are going to work for! I'd suggest that you might want to be cautious if your assignment is for one of the financial groups that is currently in trouble. The UK is already feeling the aftershocks from the last few days so I don't think it's hugely different coming over here in that regard.

Is it safe if the client is not in the financial group?
