JList in JScrollPane

I have a JList sitting in a JScrollPane so that as soon as the list is 'full', the scroll bar appears on the side. How do I set this up so that I get to see what's being added to the bottom of the list? Currently, although the list is being added to I only see the top few entries and I have to use the scroll bar to see the bottom entries.
