Yehor: Thank you very much - this now works! But this raises another question: what is the significance of not executing the class from the home directory? In the books I am using: Java Objects, Barker; Beginning Java 2, Horton, there is no mention of having to offset folders in order to execute. As well as Marilyn's brief description on Cattle Drive. Where might I get information that more precisely describes what just took place in the 'fix' of the above issue? Again - thank you very much - you're the man! doco [ February 25, 2003: Message edited by: doco mastadon ]
